On the morning of July 10th, Ms. Huang Wanhong (Yvonne) and Feng Yurun (Sophia) visited the school. The two CAIE teachers had a cordial meeting with our school principals and teachers of various disciplines. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on examination services, teaching materials, teacher training, etc. and gained a deep understanding of our school's experience in running the Cambridge Examination Center.
At the meeting, the vice president of our school, Tao Juanjuan (Vivian), gave a detailed introduction to the two CAIE teachers about the overall introduction and the curriculum setting of our school, the detailed development of our school’s Cambridge International High School classes as well as the excellent performance in the past four years. Afterwards, each teacher introduced his own experience in teaching the Cambridge course, as well as the current teaching confusion and some discussion about Cambridge textbooks.
Ms. Feng Yurun (Sophia) gave detailed answers to teachers and introduced websites to access Cambridge education resources, Cambridge’s Cambridge curriculum training for teachers on different topics around the world every year and Cambridge Global Vision courses. It is recommended that teachers should be consistent in designing courses in order to achieve the ideal teaching results. And the curriculum, teaching methods and teaching evaluation should be fully integrated. After listening to our school's report, Huang Wanhong (Yvonne) and Feng Yurun (Sophia) fully recognized our school's unique way of running schools and excellent achievements, and gave great encouragement to the future development of Teensen. They also expressed the idea that the Cambridge Assessment International Education will give Teensen strong support in teacher training and conception guidance.
In the subsequent field visits, Ms. Huang Wanhong and Ms.Feng Yurun visited the confidential room, student computer room, physics laboratory, biochemistry laboratory, preparation room, medical room, and student reading room in our school. The high-quality software&hardware facilities and the beautiful campus environment is appreciated by them.
Teensen is the first Cambridge International Examination Center in Nanchang City.It’s devoted to running "China's famous first-class international school", and has always set "ABCDE" five accomplishments as the training goal, ie A (ambitious), B (bold), C (caring), D (devoted), E (erudite). Through this work instruction, we have gained more thoughts, more progress and less confusion about the Cambridge curriculum. In the future, with the help of Cambridge Assessment International Education, our school will go forward on a down-to-earth and solid ground!
